Welcome to your Leadership Design™

You are a Conductor!

You can read your full Leadership Design description below.

For conductors, their core need is to be in control.

Conductors are very logical and prefer to get things done on the most effective and shortest of timelines. They’re quick decision-makers and their zone of genius is to keep the momentum going with their eye on the prize to get the project done. They’re not worried about the details because they’ll get it done.

For conductors, their core need is to be in control, because when they run the show, historically things go smoothly. They emphasize logic and having a high level of autonomy. They do NOT like being told what to do and certainly rebel, or even ghost, when someone is perceived to be telling them how they should do things. In groups, they are willing to delegate or even take charge to make sure things stay “on schedule” and “on task” because they don’t like to handhold and often have a low tolerance for beginners.

In social situations, they can be seen as intimidating and their directness/blunt nature can be taken the wrong way. They're not afraid to share what they think! They’re high risk-takers and very ambitious with their big-picture business goals and what it takes to work towards them. While they really get stuff done when they're committed, they can struggle with burnout because resilience is second nature to them and rest hasn’t felt like an option.

A few mellow marketing tips for Conductors:

1. You may really like the traditional coupon, fast action bonus, open cart, and act-fast vibes when it comes to marketing because it automates itself! And as long as it’s transparent and support your folks, that’s cool.

2. Try emphasizing outsourcing in your next move and delegating to take some of the ease off. You can still have autonomy with some support.

3. Let yourself nerd out and research the pros and cons of a marketing move before considering if it’s a good fit for you; just because you’re good at it doesn’t mean you should do it.
